सरगुन निरगुन निरंकार सुंन समाधी आपि ॥
He possesses all qualities; He
transcends all qualities; He is the Formless Lord. He Himself is in Primal

When this world had not yet appeared
in any form,
ਪਾਪ ਪੁੰਨ ਤਬ ਕਹ ਤੇ ਹੋਤਾ ॥

पाप पुंन तब कह ते होता ॥
Who then committed sins and
performed good deeds?
ਜਬ ਧਾਰੀ ਆਪਨ ਸੁੰਨ ਸਮਾਧਿ ॥

जब धारी आपन सुंन समाधि ॥
When the Lord Himself was in
Profound Samaadhi,
ਤਬ ਬੈਰ ਬਿਰੋਧ ਕਿਸੁ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਮਾਤਿ ॥

तब बैर बिरोध किसु संगि कमाति ॥
Then against whom were hate and
jealousy directed?

जब इस का बरनु चिहनु न जापत ॥
When there was no color or shape to
be seen,

Then who experienced joy and sorrow?

जब आपन आप आपि पारब्रहम ॥
When the Supreme Lord Himself was
Himself All-in-all,
ਤਬ ਮੋਹ ਕਹਾ ਕਿਸੁ ਹੋਵਤ ਭਰਮ ॥

तब मोह कहा किसु होवत भरम ॥
Then where was emotional attachment,
and who had doubts?
ਆਪਨ ਖੇਲੁ ਆਪਿ ਵਰਤੀਜਾ ॥
Aapan Khael Aap Varatheejaa ||
आपन खेलु आपि वरतीजा ॥
He Himself has staged His own drama;
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰੁ ਨ ਦੂਜਾ ॥੧॥

O Nanak, there is no other Creator.

When there was only God the Master,

तब बंध मुकति कहु किस कउ गनी ॥
Then who was called bound or
liberated?
ਜਬ ਏਕਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰ ॥

जब एकहि हरि अगम अपार ॥
When there was only the Lord,
Unfathomable and Infinite,
ਤਬ ਨਰਕ ਸੁਰਗ ਕਹੁ ਕਉਨ ਅਉਤਾਰ ॥

तब नरक सुरग कहु कउन अउतार ॥
Then who entered hell, and who
entered heaven?
ਜਬ ਨਿਰਗੁਨ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਹਜ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥

जब निरगुन प्रभ सहज सुभाइ ॥
When God was without attributes, in
absolute poise,
ਤਬ ਸਿਵ ਸਕਤਿ ਕਹਹੁ ਕਿਤੁ ਠਾਇ ॥

तब सिव सकति कहहु कितु ठाइ ॥
Then where was mind and where was
matter - where was Shiva and Shakti?

तब कवन निडरु कवन कत डरै ॥
Then who was fearless, and who was
afraid?
ਆਪਨ ਚਲਿਤ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਨੈਹਾਰ ॥

आपन चलित आपि करनैहार ॥
He Himself is the Performer in His
own plays;
ਨਾਨਕ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਅਗਮ ਅਪਾਰ ॥੨॥

O Nanak, the Lord Master is Unfathomable

When there was only the One Lord,

Then who was called to account by
the recording scribes of the conscious and the subconscious?

He Himself, in and of Himself, is
the most wonderful.

dishonored?

When there was only the Form of the
Lord of the Universe,
ਤਹ ਛਲ ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਲਗਤ ਕਹੁ ਕੀਸ ॥

Then who was tainted by fraud and
sin?

When the Embodiment of Light was
immersed in His Own Light,

तह किसहि भूख कवनु त्रिपतावै ॥
Then who was hungry, and who was
satisfied?

करन करावन करनैहारु ॥
He is the Cause of causes, the
Creator Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਕਰਤੇ ਕਾ ਨਾਹਿ ਸੁਮਾਰੁ ॥੪॥

तब कवन माइ बाप मित्र सुत भाई ॥
Then who was mother, father, friend,
child or sibling?

||
जह सरब कला आपहि परबीन ॥
When all power and wisdom was latent
within Him,
ਤਹ ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬ ਕਹਾ ਕੋਊ ਚੀਨ ॥
Theh Baedh Kathaeb Kehaa Kooo
Cheen ||
तह बेद कतेब कहा कोऊ चीन ॥
Then where were the Vedas and the
scriptures, and who was there to read them?
ਜਬ ਆਪਨ ਆਪੁ ਆਪਿ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੈ ॥
Jab Aapan Aap Aap Our Dhhaarai ||
जब आपन आपु आपि उरि धारै ॥
When He kept Himself, All-in-all,
unto His Own Heart,
ਤਉ ਸਗਨ ਅਪਸਗਨ ਕਹਾ ਬੀਚਾਰੈ ॥
Tho Sagan Apasagan Kehaa
Beechaarai ||
तउ सगन अपसगन कहा बीचारै ॥
Then who considered omens to be good
or bad?
ਜਹ ਆਪਨ ਊਚ ਆਪਨ ਆਪਿ ਨੇਰਾ ॥

||
जह आपन ऊच आपन आपि नेरा ॥
When He Himself was lofty, and He
Himself was near at hand,
ਤਹ ਕਉਨ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਕਉਨੁ ਕਹੀਐ ਚੇਰਾ ॥

Chaeraa ||
तह कउन ठाकुरु कउनु कहीऐ चेरा ॥
Then who was called master, and who
was called disciple?
ਬਿਸਮਨ ਬਿਸਮ ਰਹੇ ਬਿਸਮਾਦ ॥
Bisaman Bisam Rehae Bisamaadh ||
बिसमन बिसम रहे बिसमाद ॥
We are wonder-struck at the wondrous
wonder of the Lord.
ਨਾਨਕ ਅਪਨੀ ਗਤਿ ਜਾਨਹੁ ਆਪਿ ॥੫॥

ऊहा किसहि बिआपत माइआ ॥
Then who was swayed by Maya?
ਆਪਸ ਕਉ ਆਪਹਿ ਆਦੇਸੁ ॥

आपस कउ आपहि आदेसु ॥
When He paid homage to Himself,
ਤਿਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਕਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਪਰਵੇਸੁ ॥
Thihu Gun Kaa Naahee Paravaes ||
तिहु गुण का नाही परवेसु ॥
Then the three qualities were not
prevailing.
ਜਹ ਏਕਹਿ ਏਕ ਏਕ ਭਗਵੰਤਾ ॥

जह एकहि एक एक भगवंता ॥
When there was only the One, the One
and Only Lord God,

तह कउनु अचिंतु किसु लागै चिंता ॥
Then who was not anxious, and who
felt anxiety?

जह आपन आपु आपि पतीआरा ॥
When He Himself was satisfied with Himself,
ਤਹ ਕਉਨੁ ਕਥੈ ਕਉਨੁ ਸੁਨਨੈਹਾਰਾ ॥

तह कउनु कथै कउनु सुननैहारा ॥
Then who spoke and who listened?
ਬਹੁ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਊਚ ਤੇ ਊਚਾ ॥

बहु बेअंत ऊच ते ऊचा ॥
He is vast and infinite, the highest
of the high.

When He Himself fashioned the
visible world of the creation,
ਤਿਹੁ ਗੁਣ ਮਹਿ ਕੀਨੋ ਬਿਸਥਾਰੁ ॥

तिहु गुण महि कीनो बिसथारु ॥
He made the world subject to the
three dispositions.
ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਤਹ ਭਈ ਕਹਾਵਤ ॥

पापु पुंनु तह भई कहावत ॥
Sin and virtue then began to be
spoken of.
ਕੋਊ ਨਰਕ ਕੋਊ ਸੁਰਗ ਬੰਛਾਵਤ ॥

Banshhaavath ||
कोऊ नरक कोऊ सुरग बंछावत ॥
Some have gone to hell, and some
yearn for paradise.
ਆਲ ਜਾਲ ਮਾਇਆ ਜੰਜਾਲ ॥
Aal Jaal Maaeiaa Janjaal ||
आल जाल माइआ जंजाल ॥
Worldly snares and entanglements of
Maya,
ਹਉਮੈ ਮੋਹ ਭਰਮ ਭੈ ਭਾਰ ॥
Houmai Moh Bharam Bhai Bhaar ||
हउमै मोह भरम भै भार ॥
Egotism, attachment, doubt and loads
of fear;
ਦੂਖ ਸੂਖ ਮਾਨ ਅਪਮਾਨ ॥
Dhookh Sookh Maan Apamaan ||
दूख सूख मान अपमान ॥
Pain and pleasure, honor and
dishonor
ਅਨਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਕੀਓ ਬਖ੍ਯ੍ਯਾਨ ॥
Anik Prakaar Keeou Bakhyaan ||
अनिक प्रकार कीओ बख्यान ॥
These came to be described in
various ways.
ਆਪਨ ਖੇਲੁ ਆਪਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਖੈ ॥
Aapan Khael Aap Kar Dhaekhai ||
आपन खेलु आपि करि देखै ॥
He Himself creates and beholds His
own drama.
ਖੇਲੁ ਸੰਕੋਚੈ ਤਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਏਕੈ ॥੭॥
Khael Sankochai Tho Naanak Eaekai
||7||
खेलु संकोचै तउ नानक एकै ॥७॥
He winds up the drama, and then, O
Nanak, He alone remains. ||7||
ਜਹ ਅਬਿਗਤੁ ਭਗਤੁ ਤਹ ਆਪਿ ॥
Jeh Abigath Bhagath Theh Aap ||
जह अबिगतु भगतु तह आपि ॥
Wherever the Eternal Lord's devotee
is, He Himself is there.
ਜਹ ਪਸਰੈ ਪਾਸਾਰੁ ਸੰਤ ਪਰਤਾਪਿ ॥

जह पसरै पासारु संत परतापि ॥
He unfolds the expanse of His
creation for the glory of His Saint.
ਦੁਹੂ ਪਾਖ ਕਾ ਆਪਹਿ ਧਨੀ ॥
Dhuhoo Paakh Kaa Aapehi Dhhanee
||
दुहू पाख का आपहि धनी ॥
He Himself is the Master of both
worlds.
ਉਨ ਕੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਉਨਹੂ ਬਨੀ ॥
Oun Kee Sobhaa Ounehoo Banee ||
उन की सोभा उनहू बनी ॥
His Praise is to Himself alone.
ਆਪਹਿ ਕਉਤਕ ਕਰੈ ਅਨਦ ਚੋਜ ॥
Aapehi Kouthak Karai Anadh Choj
||
आपहि कउतक करै अनद चोज ॥
He Himself performs and plays His
amusements and games.
ਆਪਹਿ ਰਸ ਭੋਗਨ ਨਿਰਜੋਗ ॥
Aapehi Ras Bhogan Nirajog ||
आपहि रस भोगन निरजोग ॥
He Himself enjoys pleasures, and yet
He is unaffected and untouched.
ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਆਪਨ ਨਾਇ ਲਾਵੈ ॥
Jis Bhaavai This Aapan Naae

जिसु भावै तिसु आपन नाइ लावै ॥
He attaches whomever He pleases to
His Name.
ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਖੇਲ ਖਿਲਾਵੈ ॥
Jis Bhaavai This Khael Khilaavai
||
जिसु भावै तिसु खेल खिलावै ॥
He causes whomever He pleases to
play in His play.
ਬੇਸੁਮਾਰ ਅਥਾਹ ਅਗਨਤ ਅਤੋਲੈ ॥
Baesumaar Athhaah Aganath Atholai
||
बेसुमार अथाह अगनत अतोलै ॥
He is beyond calculation, beyond
measure, uncountable and unfathomable.
ਜਿਉ ਬੁਲਾਵਹੁ ਤਿਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਬੋਲੈ ॥੮॥੨੧॥

As You inspire him to speak, O Lord,

ਆਪਹਿ ਏਕੁ ਆਪਿ ਬਿਸਥਾਰੁ ॥

आपहि एकु आपि बिसथारु ॥
He Himself is the One, and He
Himself is the many.
ਜਾ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਾ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਉਪਾਏ ॥

Oupaaeae ||
जा तिसु भावै ता स्रिसटि उपाए ॥
When it pleases Him, He creates the
world.
ਆਪਨੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਲਏ ਸਮਾਏ ॥
Aapanai Bhaanai Leae Samaaeae ||
आपनै भाणै लए समाए ॥
As He pleases, He absorbs it back
into Himself.
ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਭਿੰਨ ਨਹੀ ਕਿਛੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Thum Thae Bhinn Nehee Kishh Hoe
||
तुम ते भिंन नही किछु होइ ॥
Without You, nothing can be done.
ਆਪਨ ਸੂਤਿ ਸਭੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਪਰੋਇ ॥
Aapan Sooth Sabh Jagath Paroe ||
आपन सूति सभु जगतु परोइ ॥
Upon Your thread, You have strung
the whole world.
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਆਪਿ ਬੁਝਾਏ ॥

जा कउ प्रभ जीउ आपि बुझाए ॥
One whom God Himself inspires to
understand
ਸਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਸੋਈ ਜਨੁ ਪਾਏ ॥
Sach Naam Soee Jan Paaeae ||
सचु नामु सोई जनु पाए ॥
- that person obtains the True Name.
ਸੋ ਸਮਦਰਸੀ ਤਤ ਕਾ ਬੇਤਾ ॥
So Samadharasee Thath Kaa Baethaa

सो समदरसी तत का बेता ॥
He looks impartially upon all, and
he knows the essential reality.

Dheen Dhaeiaal Anaathh Ko Naathh

दीन दइआल अनाथ को नाथु ॥
He is Merciful to the meek, the
Patron of the patronless.
ਜਿਸੁ ਰਾਖੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਮਾਰੈ ॥
Jis Raakhai This Koe N Maarai ||
जिसु राखै तिसु कोइ न मारै ॥
No one can kill those who are
protected by Him.
ਸੋ ਮੂਆ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨਹੁ ਬਿਸਾਰੈ ॥
So Mooaa Jis Manahu Bisaarai ||
सो मूआ जिसु मनहु बिसारै ॥
One who is forgotten by God, is
already dead.
ਤਿਸੁ ਤਜਿ ਅਵਰ ਕਹਾ ਕੋ ਜਾਇ ॥
This Thaj Avar Kehaa Ko Jaae ||
तिसु तजि अवर कहा को जाइ ॥
Leaving Him, where else could anyone
go?
ਸਭ ਸਿਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਰਾਇ ॥

सभ सिरि एकु निरंजन राइ ॥
Over the heads of all is the One,
the Immaculate King.
ਜੀਅ ਕੀ ਜੁਗਤਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਸਭ ਹਾਥਿ ॥

Inwardly and outwardly, know that He

He is the Ocean of excellence,
infinite and endless.

The Perfect, Merciful Lord is

सभ ऊपरि होवत किरपाल ॥
His kindness extends to all.
ਅਪਨੇ ਕਰਤਬ ਜਾਨੈ ਆਪਿ ॥

अपने करतब जानै आपि ॥
He Himself knows His own ways.
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਰਹਿਓ ਬਿਆਪਿ ॥

अंतरजामी रहिओ बिआपि ॥
The Inner-knower, the Searcher of
hearts, is present everywhere.
ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲੈ ਜੀਅਨ ਬਹੁ ਭਾਤਿ ॥

प्रतिपालै जीअन बहु भाति ॥
He cherishes His living beings in so
many ways.
ਜੋ ਜੋ ਰਚਿਓ ਸੁ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਧਿਆਤਿ ॥
Jo Jo Rachiou S Thisehi Dhhiaath

जो जो रचिओ सु तिसहि धिआति ॥
That which He has created meditates
on Him.
ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਲਏ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
Jis Bhaavai This Leae Milaae ||
जिसु भावै तिसु लए मिलाइ ॥
Whoever pleases Him, He blends into
Himself.
ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਹਿ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥
Bhagath Karehi Har Kae Gun Gaae

भगति करहि हरि के गुण गाइ ॥
They perform His devotional service
and sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਮਨ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਸੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਿਆ ॥
Man Anthar Bisvaas Kar Maaniaa ||
मन अंतरि बिस्वासु करि मानिआ ॥
With heart-felt faith, they believe
in Him.
ਕਰਨਹਾਰੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਇਕੁ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥੩॥

करनहारु नानक इकु जानिआ ॥३॥
O Nanak, they realize the One, the
Creator Lord. ||3||
ਜਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ਹਰਿ ਏਕੈ ਨਾਇ ॥
Jan Laagaa Har Eaekai Naae ||
जनु लागा हरि एकै नाइ ॥
The Lord's humble servant is
committed to His Name.
ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਆਸ ਨ ਬਿਰਥੀ ਜਾਇ ॥
This Kee Aas N Birathhee Jaae ||
तिस की आस न बिरथी जाइ ॥
His hopes do not go in vain.
ਸੇਵਕ ਕਉ ਸੇਵਾ ਬਨਿ ਆਈ ॥
Saevak Ko Saevaa Ban Aaee ||
सेवक कउ सेवा बनि आई ॥
The servant's purpose is to serve;
ਹੁਕਮੁ ਬੂਝਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਈ ॥
Hukam Boojh Param Padh Paaee ||
हुकमु बूझि परम पदु पाई ॥
Obeying the Lord's Command, the
supreme status is obtained.
ਇਸ ਤੇ ਊਪਰਿ ਨਹੀ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ॥
Eis Thae Oopar Nehee Beechaar ||
इस ते ऊपरि नही बीचारु ॥
Beyond this, he has no other
thought.
ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਬਸਿਆ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
Jaa Kai Man Basiaa Nirankaar ||
जा कै मनि बसिआ निरंकारु ॥
Within his mind, the Formless Lord
abides.
ਬੰਧਨ ਤੋਰਿ ਭਏ ਨਿਰਵੈਰ ॥
Bandhhan Thor Bheae Niravair ||
बंधन तोरि भए निरवैर ॥
His bonds are cut away, and he
becomes free of hatred.
ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਪੂਜਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਕੇ ਪੈਰ ॥
Anadhin Poojehi Gur Kae Pair ||
अनदिनु पूजहि गुर के पैर ॥
Night and day, he worships the Feet
of the Guru.
ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਸੁਖੀਏ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਸੁਹੇਲੇ ॥

Suhaelae ||
इह लोक सुखीए परलोक सुहेले ॥
He is at peace in this world, and
happy in the next.

Sing the Glories of God, the

अम्रित बचन हरि के गुन गाउ ॥
Sing the Ambrosial Words of the
Lord's Glorious Praises;

प्रान तरन का इहै सुआउ ॥
This is the way to save your mortal
soul.

आठ पहर प्रभ पेखहु नेरा ॥
Behold God near at hand, twenty-four
hours a day.
ਮਿਟੈ ਅਗਿਆਨੁ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ॥
Mittai Agiaan Binasai Andhhaeraa

मिटै अगिआनु बिनसै अंधेरा ॥
Ignorance shall depart, and darkness
shall be dispelled.

राम नामु अंतरि उरि धारि ॥
Enshrine the Lord's Name deep within
your heart.
ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਦੀਖਿਆ ॥

पूरे गुर की पूरी दीखिआ ॥
Perfect are the Teachings of the
Perfect Guru.
ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਬਸੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਾਚੁ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ ॥

मनि तनि नामु जपहु लिव लाइ ॥
With your mind and body, chant the
Naam; lovingly attune yourself to it.
ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਭਉ ਜਾਇ ॥
Dhookh Dharadh Man Thae Bho Jaae

दूखु दरदु मन ते भउ जाइ ॥
Sorrow, pain and fear shall depart
from your mind.
ਸਚੁ ਵਾਪਾਰੁ ਕਰਹੁ ਵਾਪਾਰੀ ॥
Sach Vaapaar Karahu Vaapaaree ||
सचु वापारु करहु वापारी ॥
Deal in the true trade, O trader,
ਦਰਗਹ ਨਿਬਹੈ ਖੇਪ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ॥
Dharageh Nibehai Khaep Thumaaree
||
दरगह निबहै खेप तुमारी ॥
And your merchandise shall be safe
in the Court of the Lord.
ਏਕਾ ਟੇਕ ਰਖਹੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Eaekaa Ttaek Rakhahu Man Maahi ||
एका टेक रखहु मन माहि ॥
Keep the Support of the One in your
mind.
ਨਾਨਕ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨ ਆਵਹਿ ਜਾਹਿ ॥੬॥
Naanak Bahur N Aavehi Jaahi ||6||
नानक बहुरि न आवहि जाहि ॥६॥
O Nanak, you shall not have to come
and go in reincarnation again. ||6||
ਤਿਸ ਤੇ ਦੂਰਿ ਕਹਾ ਕੋ ਜਾਇ ॥
This Thae Dhoor Kehaa Ko Jaae ||
तिस ते दूरि कहा को जाइ ॥
Where can anyone go, to get away
from Him?
ਉਬਰੈ ਰਾਖਨਹਾਰੁ ਧਿਆਇ ॥
Oubarai Raakhanehaar Dhhiaae ||
उबरै राखनहारु धिआइ ॥
Meditating on the Protector Lord,
you shall be saved.
ਨਿਰਭਉ ਜਪੈ ਸਗਲ ਭਉ ਮਿਟੈ ॥
Nirabho Japai Sagal Bho Mittai ||
निरभउ जपै सगल भउ मिटै ॥
Meditating on the Fearless Lord, all
fear departs.
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਛੁਟੈ ॥

प्रभ किरपा ते प्राणी छुटै ॥
By God's Grace, mortals are
released.
ਜਿਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਰਾਖੈ ਤਿਸੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਦੂਖ ॥

जिसु प्रभु राखै तिसु नाही दूख ॥
One who is protected by God never
suffers in pain.

नामु जपत मनि होवत सूख ॥
Chanting the Naam, the mind becomes
peaceful.
ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜਾਇ ਮਿਟੈ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ ॥
Chinthaa Jaae Mittai Ahankaar ||
चिंता जाइ मिटै अहंकारु ॥
Anxiety departs, and ego is
eliminated.
ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਪਹੁਚਨਹਾਰੁ ॥
This Jan Ko Koe N Pahuchanehaar

तिसु जन कउ कोइ न पहुचनहारु ॥
No one can equal that humble
servant.
ਸਿਰ ਊਪਰਿ ਠਾਢਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੂਰਾ ॥

सिर ऊपरि ठाढा गुरु सूरा ॥
The Brave and Powerful Guru stands
over his head.

चरन कमल जा के अनूप ॥
His Lotus Feet are incomparably
beautiful.

सफल दरसनु सुंदर हरि रूप ॥
The Blessed Vision of His Darshan is
fruitful and rewarding; His Lordly Form is beautiful.

Dhhann Saevaa Saevak Paravaan ||
धंनु सेवा सेवकु परवानु ॥
Blessed is His service; His servant
is famous.
ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨੁ ॥
Antharajaamee Purakh Pradhhaan ||
अंतरजामी पुरखु प्रधानु ॥
The Inner-knower, the Searcher of
hearts, is the most exalted Supreme Being.
